The Whitaker Center hosted a juried student art show called Y Art: Discovering the Next Generation of Young Artists. Donegal High School was fortunate to have the artwork of Jibril Abu Adra (12) and Adam Hawbaker (10) accepted into this regional art show. As if the selection of their art wasn't gratifying enough, Adam received top honors at the show by placing 1st for his elephant drawing.
